Don’t miss any important Amazon Seller / e-commerce events this year!

Make 2024 your best year ever in terms of sales!

As an Amazon Seller, it is a must for your strategic planning to prepare for the most important events and seasonal trends of the year. Plan the best deals and discounts for your products early on to boost your Amazon business.

To make sure you don’t miss any events, we have summarized the most important e-commerce events of the year for you here.

These are the best-selling days on Amazon 2024 – get ready:

April – Humor, Easter eggs and books

April Fool’s Day! April starts with a twinkle in the eye, because on April 1 is joke day! This is a great opportunity to attract customers’ attention with playful and humorous campaigns and draw attention to your products.

Also on April 1 is Easter Monday this year. Make sure you deliberately use keywords that contain search queries related to Easter!

Another important event in April is the International Book Day on April 23. If you are a book retailer, be sure to offer special book discounts.

May – Work and parental love

The May 1 is Labor Day.

May also brings Father’s Day on May 9 with it. Put together themed gift bundles for fathers and create special offers for fathers.

On May 12 Mother’s Day is coming up. Radiate warmth in your marketing campaigns and think about offers that are tailored to the mothers in your target group.

July – Prime Day!

On June 21 is the official start of summer. Now is a good time to actively promote travel and beach products and get customers looking forward to the sunny, warm season.

This month we are also celebrating Pride Month. It’s about celebrating diversity and inclusion and promoting special products such as flags and party products aimed at the LGBTQ+ community.

August – Games and new beginnings

On August 21 the largest gaming trade fair in Germany begins. Gaming-related products are therefore in particularly high demand this month.

August marks the end of the summer sales, which is a good opportunity to maximize sales of the summer collection and make room for new fall merchandise. Sales can be increased with well-deployed retargeting campaigns and coupons.

The approaching back-to-school period should also be taken into account by retailers.

September – Welcome the fall

September is characterized by the start of autumn. Present products that reflect this season particularly well now.

Although the Oktoberfest (mid/end of September) does not offer direct marketing opportunities for all Amazon Sellers, it can still be used for themed campaigns to target customers.

October – Prime Day 2.0 and horror

The time of patriotic articles: On October 3 the Day of German Unity is celebrated.

In 2022, Prime Day 2.0 took place for the first time on 12. and October 13th. This year there is also the possibility of this – the date is of course still unknown – but we are at least as excited as you are!

Especially the hearts of scary fans beat faster in October, because on October 31st is Halloween. Now it’s time for spooky items, scary decorations and cozy accessories. Highlight your products with themed promotions and create corresponding offers.

Tip: Start preparing early (stock!) for Black Friday next month.

November – We see black!

On November 11 is Singles’ Day and the start of Carnival.

THE biggest and most important shopping event of the year is coming up! On November 29 is Black Friday. Your customers are particularly willing to buy now! Take advantage of the hype and plan large-scale discount campaigns and special offers. Please note: The days shortly before and after are also particularly busy.

December – Festive atmosphere and year-end closing

This year, the high-selling Cyber Monday falls on December 2nd.

Now it’s time for the year-end spurt! Think about a sensible PPC campaign strategy to increase the joy of buying in connection with Christmas offers. (St. Nicholas on the 6th, Christmas Eve on 24. and Christmas holidays on 25. and December 26) and to fully exploit the increased willingness of last-minute shoppers to buy.

Take advantage of the party atmosphere at the end of the year (New Year’s Eve on December 31) to launch emotional marketing campaigns and provide an outlook for the coming year.
